Shoshana Kertesz

Shoshana Kertesz was born in Hungary and studied Fine Arts in Budapest at the Montazs Art School. She currently lives in West Orange, NJ. Her figurative oil paintings have been exhibited in Hungary, Israel and the United States. Her Portrait series include portraits of great artists, writers, poets and musicians. Some of the venues she has shown her work are the Contemporary Art Fair at the Javits Center, Gelabert Studio Gallery in NYC, and the West Orange Arts Council, where she is a member. She had solo shows in the Jerusalem Theater in Israel, Hanover Town Hall in NJ and Danbury Town Hall in CT. She recently won the jury prize in an exhibition in Hungary for her painting titled "Exodus".
