Barbara Friedman

Barbara A. Friedman graduated Parsons School of Design with a BFA, and received her MFA from William Paterson University. The paintings Barbara creates of the farm and rural areas of NJ and Long Island north shore are reflective of the surroundings without exactitude. Memory, color, and composition are used to create a transportive experience for the viewer. Recent explorations have also included studies of Manhattan and light.
