Danielle Austen
Danielle Austen is an award-winning fine art photographer specializing in intimate portraits of the environment. Educated and trained in the fine arts and photojournalism, Danielle’s work has been published in local, regional, and national newspapers and magazines, including the New York Times, NJ Monthly and “Life’s, The Year in Pictures.”
Returning to her fine art roots, she was selected into six Artist-in-Residency programs across the United States at locations including the Rocky Mountain National Park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, twice at Acadia National Park, Everglades National Park, and was a Fellowship recipient at the Vermont Studio Center. She has also participated in over four dozen national and international juried exhibits, three group shows and four solo exhibits. Works have been published in a variety of publications including Outdoor Photographer, Black & White Magazine, Sun Magazine. In 2014, she was the co-creator and curator of the “NJ350 Elements” photography exhibition displayed outdoors around the Duke Farms Environmental Center in Hillsborough, NJ.
