Gwenn Seemel

Gwenn Seemel makes brightly colored paintings that are both playful and intense, and they release all their work directly into the public domain. Because of that unusual choice, they were invited to give a TEDx talk in Switzerland. Seemel's art has appeared in Newsweek as well as on the cover of an Oxford University Press book, and they recently made their film début in the Belgian documentary Queerying Nature. Their current project is a series of surreal paintings about mental health, called Everything's Fine.
