Leni Paquet-Morante
Léni Paquet-Morante (BFA Mason Gross, 1992) is a painter, sculptor, printmaker whose work is informed by shallow water systems. She has been active in the Mercer County, NJ community as an artist, educator, and volunteer since arriving for an apprenticeship at the Johnson Atelier in 1984. Her studio is part of the Johnson Atelier Studio Program located within Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. Solo exhibitions have been at Mercer County Community College (2020), Johnson & Johnson Headquarters (2019, 1998), Princeton University (2017, 1995), and Passaic County Community College (1997). Recently awarded a 2024 NJSCA Finalist Grant and 2023 NJ Craft’s Artist Printmaking Residency at Peter’s Valley Craft’s Center, she also attended a residency at Lacawac Field Sanctuary, PA (2017) and was Artist-In-Education Resident through Maryland State Council on the Arts (1986). She is registered with Women Artist Archives National Directory and is a member of the National Association of Women Artists. Her work is in public, private, and institutional collections internationally.
