Drawing from experience in experimental mixed media, my approach has evolved to incorporate a wider range of colors and the addition of new and exciting materials including torn paper, metal and glass. Combined with pure pigment, my new techniques have created fascinating textures and color balances.  Free from the limitations of my more serious subject matter, these new paintings are an exercise in the simple joy of abstract expressionism.    It is my goal is to have the viewer share that joy and appreciate the departure from my own boundaries.
