Nancy Karpf

Nancy Karpf studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. She is a painter working in both oil and acrylic. Her work blends abstract and representational forms and is influenced by her travel to near and faraway places. She is altered by the landscapes and people she has discovered along the way. The quality of loose and gestural brushwork is an integral part of her work revealing spontaneity and the intensity of her sensibilities. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums and can be found in private collections in the United States and Canada.
